The NAofA ran the PTA P.E. Program at my kid’s school. The NAofA was well organized, provided great instruction, was a lot of fun, and was designed for all grade levels. The students really loved the instructors and looked forward to their P.E. class. Let’s continue to keep kids active in schools. I highly recommend them as a parent and former PTA president.
My son went to the Air Attack Flag Football camp and absolutely loved it! The coach was inclusive, knowledgeable, and fun! My son came home every day telling me about the new football drills and skills he learned. A very worthwhile camp and love that he was active every day. Will be signing up for more camps this summer!!

MEET YOUR FLORIDA PANHANDLE AREA CAPTAIN
Angelica Brooks leads the National Academy of Athletics – Florida Panhandle with a powerful vision: to empower youth, support underserved communities, and foster athletic excellence through inclusive, purpose-driven sports programs. With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University and certifications as a licensed Private Investigator, Angelica brings a unique blend of discipline, advocacy, and leadership to her role. Her career has long been centered around protecting vulnerable populations, raising awareness of human trafficking, and working on missing persons and cold cases through her leadership at Locate.
Angelica is also a nationally recognized voice for justice and healing. As a recurring forensic expert on TV One’s Fatal Attraction, she lends her expertise to shine a light on systemic issues and speak for the voiceless. She extends her impact through “Survive to Thrive,” a powerful program and workbook designed to help survivors of abuse reclaim their strength and rebuild their lives. Her upcoming book, Black Girl Magic, aims to inspire and empower the next generation of young women with confidence, courage, and purpose.
Her mission at NAofA is grounded in collaboration—with schools, Parks & Rec departments, and local organizations—to bring high-quality sports programming to youth across the Florida Panhandle. Angelica’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to education, outreach, and building safer, more inclusive communities. Her work is a testament to the belief that sports can be a catalyst for growth, healing, and lifelong success.
