Sonoma County Youth Sports

Gear up for NAofA’s Sonoma County Youth Sports. The NAofA Programs are designed for the mental and physical growth of kids. Through our programs, kids learn athletics, fundamentals of sports, life skills, and the dynamics of working as a team while having FUN!
Teaching Life Skills
Through Team Sports
We teach kids about success, failure, and what it means to be part of a team. Children are in need of role models more than critics. Because of this, our instructors focus on fundamental skill development taught in a fun and positive environment.
TESTIMONIALS
This is our third year using the National Academy of Athletics Fitness Through Fundamentals. Their administration is very responsive, their instructors are prompt and enthusiastic and our students love the program.
My son is in his second year of doing camps with national athletics! First off, the coaches are AMAZING! He hardly can sleep on camp nights because he is so excited to go the next day! It’s a perfect mix of education on a sport and FUN! He loves doing the longer days one although he is young he finds it that much fun to stay the full day! He loves showing me the new skills he learned and telling me about all the friends he makes! HIGHLY recommend! Memories for a lifetime he gains at every camp!
This organization is fantastic! The National Academy of Athletics teaches its campers to be their best self. Their caring and well-trained staff are wonderful in teaching skills and in developing a love of the game, no matter what level the player is at. As a coach for many years of youth sports, I can say that the National Academy of Athletics is an excellent choice for youth who want to learn, develop and enjoy athletics. Top-notch!
The NAofA ran the PTA P.E. Program at my kid’s school. The NAofA was well organized, provided great instruction, was a lot of fun, and was designed for all grade levels. The students really loved the instructors and looked forward to their P.E. class. Let’s continue to keep kids active in schools. I highly recommend them as a parent and former PTA president.

MEET YOUR AREA CAPTAIN
Taylor Spooner
Hi, I’m Taylor!
I was born and raised in Sonoma County. It’s my favorite place! I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. I have been with NAofA for 2.5 years. I began as a coach, moved to director, then started my role as Office Manager not long after I became the Sonoma County Area Captain. Currently, I am still working in both positions and I love it. There is never a boring day at my job!
I love that I get to experience not only the coaching/teaching side of the job but also get to expand my knowledge in a business sense. I am constantly learning and challenged EVERY day, but there is no better feeling than when I walk onto a campus or camp, hear “Coach Taylor is here!” and see all the smiling faces!
COACH SPOTLIGHT

Justin Tauaefa
Justin is a star coach in Sonoma County because he is dependable, hard-working, and awesome with the kids! He always has a smile on his face when he’s at camp and our campers do too – they have the best time with him! He is an asset to our team and we are so lucky to have a coach like Justin.
