Building Healthy Bodies
and Happy Hearts
We teach kids about success, failure, and what it means to be part of a team. Children are in need of role models more than critics. Because of this, our instructors focus on fundamental skill development taught in a fun and positive environment.

MEET YOUR AREA CAPTAIN
John Cao
I was born and raised in the city I love, Houston, Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Computer Engineering. Before jumping into youth sports I worked in corporate IT and the restaurant industry for 10 years.
For over 5 years I have been involved in youth sports promoting the non-contact sport of flag football. I teach football fundamentals to the youth in my community as part of the Under Armour Program. My passion for the sport and my community is what makes my job fun and I truly enjoy it. Also, I have enjoyed coaching my 2 boys in baseball and soccer, which I truly love to do.
Choosing to become a partner at the National Academy of Athletics has allowed me to elevate and expand the programs I have here in the Houston, Texas area. Now, I can make a larger impact on the community by introducing children to playing all sorts of sports. It’s important to give children choices so that they can experiment with learning different sports, and find one or two they love, so they may continue to have an active and healthy lifestyle as they get older.
I am thrilled to bring my passion and love for youth sports to the communities near me. At the NAofA we “Play Hard and Have Fun!” Our motto shows the importance of youth having fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport.
