Building Healthy Bodies

and Happy Hearts®

We teach kids about success, failure, and what it means to be part of a team. Children are in need of role models more than critics. Because of this, our instructors focus on fundamental skill development taught in a fun and positive environment.

MEET YOUR AREA CAPTAIN

Cena Murphy

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Cena is proud to serve the community she has always called home. A graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Communications and Media Studies, she blends her local roots with a passion for connecting with people in her role at the National Academy of Athletics.

An outdoor enthusiast, Cena enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, and snowboarding in Tahoe. Sports have always been central to her life—her main focuses were track and field and volleyball—teaching her teamwork, resilience, and dedication.

She began with the National Academy of Athletics as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern and now serves as Area Captain for Sonoma County. Cena is excited to inspire kids through sports, build confidence on and off the field, and create lasting positive experiences for families in her community.
