and Happy Hearts®
We teach kids about success, failure, and what it means to be part of a team. Children are in need of role models more than critics. Because of this, our instructors focus on fundamental skill development taught in a fun and positive environment.

In the northern part of the county, in cities which include: Carslbad, Enscondido, Encinitas, and Oceanside, LaJolla, Mission Hills and everything in between, we have a passionate team of Area Captains managing the National Academy of Athletics San Diego North territory. TESTIMONIALS
“The National Academy of Athletics brought an incredible mix of energy, adaptability, and fun to our two summer camps for individuals with disabilities. Their team of coaches did a fantastic job tailoring activities to meet our participants’ needs, all while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and engaging. Every day, our campers couldn’t wait to see what was in store and were always excited to interact with the coaches. We truly appreciate their commitment to inclusion and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to collaborate with them again in the future!”
“My 12-year-old son attended the La Mesa flag football game camp in July 2025. He had a wonderful time! Coach Kenny and Coach Adrian made him feel comfortable, taught him many skills, and celebrated his gains throughout the week! He always woke up ready to go to camp. Thanks, NAoA, for a great week and for helping to keep my preteen off his device for a week!”

MEET YOUR SAN DIEGO NORTH TEAM
Hi, I’m Christiana — a proud San Diego native and the new franchise owner of NAofA San Diego. With a master’s degree in Intercultural Studies and a professional background in refugee resettlement, I’ve spent my career focused on building bridges between cultures, creating access to resources, and fostering environments where all children and families feel welcome.
My work has taken me into diverse communities where I’ve seen firsthand the power of inclusion, resilience, and human connection, and those values are precisely what I aim to bring into every youth sports program we run. I believe play is a universal language, and through the structure of high-quality, purpose-driven athletics, kids can gain confidence, develop life skills, and feel a true sense of belonging.
As a lifelong dog lover, outdoor enthusiast, and sports fan, I’m thrilled to partner with the National Academy of Athletics to serve families throughout San Diego. I’m especially excited to work alongside schools, parks, and community centers to make sure every child — regardless of background or ability — has a chance to grow through movement, teamwork, and play.
I’m honored to be part of a mission that’s bigger than sports — one that helps kids thrive both on and off the field.
