From Camper to Youth Sports Coach
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a young athlete grow through our programs—and then come full circle to inspire the next generation. This is exactly what happened with Tyler Coester, a dedicated athlete who spent over seven years participating in our camps, clinics, and leagues who is now one of our youth sports coaches.
As a high school senior and multi-sport athlete, Tyler has now stepped into a new role as an NAofA Certified Coach. His excitement is contagious! Tyler is fired up to give back and help kids develop the same skills that made such a difference in his life, both on and off the court.
For Tyler, the National Academy of Athletics was more than just a place to practice drills or compete in games—it was a foundation. Through years of hard work, he gained valuable life lessons in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. Now, he’s ready to share those lessons and empower young athletes just as he was once empowered.
Watching Tyler’s journey unfold is a reminder of the lasting impact youth sports can have. It’s not just about playing the game—it’s about building confidence, character, and a lifelong love for sports. We’re thrilled to have Tyler as part of our coaching team, and we can’t wait to see the difference he’ll make in the lives of his players.
Tyler’s story is an incredible example of how NAofA’s talk.teach.PLAY!® mission goes beyond the court. It creates opportunities for young athletes to thrive and, one day, inspire others to do the same. Welcome to the coaching family, Tyler!
