Meet Your Sacramento East Area Captain
Marcus Tolibas
3 words to best describe what I’m passionate about are sports, youth, and community. I started working in Recreation as a Sophomore in high school for my local recreation department as a basketball Coach and Official and I knew this was what I wanted to do. Being a 3-sport athlete in high school and also playing Semi-Pro baseball allowed me to learn a lot about myself and my dream to play sports as a career.
Being part of the National Academy of Athletics as your Area Captain has put me in the best position to be involved in youth sports, and also to build better communities through the teaching of our coaching methods and foundational message; PLAY HARD. HAVE FUN.
My love for sports has now brought me to this point in my life, which allows me to build our Sacramento communities through recreation and bring the best youth sports programs to your city. I can’t wait to meet you and your kids and let them know that “you can do anything you set your mind to, you just have to show up and have a positive attitude.”
See you out on the field and don’t forget to say hi!
