Nick Raffensperger
Nick brings over 15 years of experience in commercial lending and public finance. His extensive background in financial services has honed his skills in strategic planning, relationship management, and community development.
Driven by a deep passion for youth sports—a cornerstone of his own upbringing—Nick has transitioned into entrepreneurship by partnering with the National Academy of Athletics. This decision aligns his professional expertise with his commitment to fostering positive youth development through sports.
In his role as the franchise owner of NAofA, Nick is dedicated to providing high-quality, fun-focused sports programs that promote skill development, teamwork, and confidence in children.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Nick enjoys playing golf, hiking, and tennis. He cherishes time spent with his wife, Katy, and their new puppy, Mack, embracing the active lifestyle that he encourages in his community.
Jonathan brings over a decade of legal and business expertise to his role as the owner of a National Academy of Athletics (NAofA) youth sports franchise in Denver, Colorado. He began his career in corporate finance and business management at a voice technology company before earning his law degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. Over the next 10+ years, he practiced law at an AMLAW 150 firm and advised Fortune 100 companies, specializing in technology and business transactions. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
Jonathan Gray
After years in the legal and corporate world, Jonathan felt called to pursue work with greater purpose and community impact. Driven by that motivation—and a lifelong love of sports—he transitioned from law to franchise ownership with NAofA to bring high-quality youth sports programming to the Denver Metro area. Having grown up playing competitive sports in Florida, he understands the profound role athletics can play in building confidence, character, and connection in kids’ lives.
Outside of work, Jonathan is a proud husband and father of two young boys. His family fuels his passion for creating positive, active experiences for children in the community.
