talk.teach.PLAY!® is the trademarked teaching method of the National Academy of Athletics. Founder & CEO Aaron Locks developed the teaching method after working with legendary basketball coach John Wooden and other very successful coaches and leaders in sports. He realized that there needs to be a formula that allows kids the opportunity to understand the concepts of what they’re going to learn, practice those skills through drills, and then have them use those skills when they PLAY! Today, kids have a very short attention span. By using cycles of a maximum of 15 minutes, they don’t have a chance to get bored; they stay engaged, remember the skills they learned, and ultimately have more fun!
talk.teach.PLAY!® Productions
Our talk.teach.PLAY!® interviews and shorts were developed to bring other youth sports experts together to share valuable information with parents, coaches, and others passionate about kids’ health and fitness. We encourage youth sports parents to learn from experts on how to support their young athletes best.
