NAofA Partner Triumphs at First 2025 Golden Ticket Tournament
At the kickoff of the 2025 Golden Ticket Tournament season, players competed for an exclusive opportunity to secure their spot in the USA Pickleball Nationals Finale. This prestigious tournament series offers athletes the chance to qualify by winning Gold medals, with all medalists earning eligibility to compete at Nationals.
Among the competitors was one of our very own partners at the National Academy of Athletics, who proved her dedication and skill by bringing home a Bronze medal in the Women’s Doubles 5.0 50+ division. This accomplishment not only highlights her commitment to excellence on and off the court but also her drive to continually improve and compete at the highest levels.
Competing at Newport Beach, a renowned venue famous for hosting the toughest competition, she also participated in the Mixed Doubles 5.5/6.0 40+ division. In a tournament known for its intensity, she started with a stellar 3-0 record before two hard-fought matches took her out of the finals. Reflecting on the experience, she shared her thoughts on competing against such elite players, acknowledging the unique challenges that come with these high-level matches and her drive to keep elevating her game.
“These Golden Ticket tournaments are fiercely competitive, and you have to bring your ‘A-Game.’ Playing here is a chance to learn and grow with every match. I truly went out there and played hard and had fun,” she said. “I know what I need to work on, and I can’t wait to try again.”
Her dedication to competing at this level is a testament to the commitment, resilience, and passion that define the National Academy of Athletics’ mission. We’re proud to see our partner leading by example, competing alongside the best, and pushing boundaries in pursuit of excellence.
