The National Academy of Athletics is the best youth sports franchise because our Founder and CEO, Aaron Locks, has over four decades of working in the Youth Sports business. He was mentored by some of the most famous coaches on record and developed the NAofA programs and philosophy based on the knowledge he received along his journey.
Aaron comprised a team of like-minded business professionals with a lifetime of experience and passion in sports. They all believe some of the most important life lessons are learned at a young age, playing sports! So together, they combined their expertise to develop the National Academy of Athletics on a mission to bring back recreational youth sports programs to children nationwide. In just ten years, the NAofA successfully operates its programs in 5 states and 200 locations.

The National Academy of Athletics promotes positive physical and mental development through sports fundamentals. Our expertly trained coaches provide children access to specialized athletic instruction that will set them on a path for personal growth, optimism, and confidence both on and off the field. We are on a mission to combat childhood obesity and anxiety by instilling healthy lifestyles through the power of sports.

The NAofA uses sports to promote mental and physical enrichment in our youth while teaching kids sports fundamentals in a way that is FUN and keeps them engaged.
Participants have tons of fun developing confidence, optimism, and personal growth while learning new sports and life skills, competing in challenges, and making new friends.
We Do Not Promote Dedication to a Single Sport.
We are not pushing children to get scholarships or become pro athletes. Our recreational programs are FUN and introduce children to an active, healthy lifestyle in hopes they maintain this lifestyle through adulthood.
We are introducing children to life skills like teamwork, perseverance, and effective communication, which they will need to succeed in any career they choose.
Of course, if a child dreams of pursuing sports as a career, we will support them and their family to make the best decisions to grow.
We do not compete against the City Recreational Departments, Schools and Leagues; we service their needs.
Through strategic partnerships, we can help provide youth athletic programs that are better managed and a team of NAofA Certified Coaches to fulfill the youth sports needs of the community.

I am a high school basketball official who has attended several of Aaron Locks’s basketball officiating camps throughout the last several years. Aaron has a wealth of experience in basketball officiating at all levels. He has been trained by John Wooden, Pat Riley, and Dave Libbey, to name a few. At his officiating camps, he is high-energy, as is the rest of his staff. I have learned a lot from him about basketball and officiating. I would recommend attending his camps if you want to improve your craft of basketball officiating. It’s well worth the expense and effort!!!!
